If the game lenghtens too much and the deck run out of cards, we enter fate mode. The fight must end one way or the other.
When you enter fate mode, the game changes to force a very near end. There is no more draw phase, and the spirit loses the ability to store ki, so all the ki it has accumulated is dumped into the body at once. Any ki used from now on is not returned to the spirit, but is removed from the game. In addition, each player will lose one additional ki at the end of their turn. In the event that fate mode was activated with the death technique and cancelled with the mirror sword, all ki that was set aside as used immediately returns to the spirit, while all other game rules return to normal.
Be that as it may, if in fate mode a player uses up all his remaining ki, he automatically dies, losing the duel and all its honour at the same time.
